I use an inhaler for asthma. The American manufacturer changed the delivery system from aerosol to manual and raised the price from $100 to $300 for a one-month supply. The price without insurance was about $2,500. I discovered I could order the same medicine in a 90-day aerosol inhaler from Planet Drugs Direct for $80. My out-of-pocket cost went from $300/month to $27/month. The new inhaler didn't have a dose counter. I had to write down when I started using the inhaler so I would know when it was getting low. When reordering, I had to account for shipping time which was about six weeks. These were small costs to pay for the affordability of my medication.

I have a prescription drug plan in the USA that gets me most drugs at a reasonable cost, but for those that are more expensive I have turned to Planet Drugs Direct occasionally for several years. Their pricing is much more in line with what I can afford, their service is great, and the quality of the drugs is as good as any. It's nice to have them as a backup.
